Is there an age limit for checking in?

The hotel has an age limit of 18. Children are welcome to stay when accompanied by an adult.

Can children use the pool?

Children under 18 are welcome until 7:00 PM. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Is Wood Wellness included in the room price?

No, this must be booked separately. See prices and book here.

Exception: some packages & offers include entry.

Do you need to book access to Wood Wellness before checking in?

No, but it is recommended! See prices and book here.

The pool is closed, what do I do now?

We’re perched high up on the mountain, where the weather can sometimes have a mind of its own. That means there may be times when we need to close the pool at short notice, either due to the weather or unexpected technical issues.

But luckily, not everything is closed. The sauna, lounge and quiet area remain open as normal, so you’re more than welcome to slow down, warm up and enjoy a little peace and quiet.

If the pool is closed due to weather or technical issues, the entrance price is reduced by 50%.

Is breakfast included in the room price?

Yes, a heartwarming breakfast is always included!

Do you have family rooms?

Our apartments are well suited as a family room. Feel free to send us an inquiry, and we'll provide a good recommendation for you and your family.

Is it allowed to have a dog in the room?

Yes, we have some rooms where dogs are allowed for an additional fee of 500 NOK. Just let us know in advance, and we'll reserve a pet-friendly room for you.

How do I get there?

You can take a taxi from the airport, train station or city center. It is also possible to book a pickup service from the hotel for an additional fee.

Are there buses that go up to the hotel?

Currently, there are no buses going up to Wood Hotel Bodø.

What type of wood is it built from?

The hotel is primarily built out of massive wood/glulam from spruce. The impregnated glulam pillars on the first floor, is made out of pine, and the outside paneling is made out of heartwood pine.

Where can I find the best viewpoint, and how do I get there?

You’ll find a fantastic viewpoint on the 7th floor, right by the bar. Simply walk through the restaurant and continue towards the bar, where you’ll find beautiful views over Bodø and the surrounding landscape.

The 7th floor is open from 6:30 AM Monday to Friday and from 7:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, until around midnight when the bar closes. You’re very welcome to visit even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
