Keiservarden

An easy hike with spectacular views the whole way. Safe to say you won't be alone on this mountain. From the time Queen Sonja opened the Sherpa-built trail in 2016, more than 100,000 locals and visitors come here every year.

On clear days, you can see the Lofoten Wall stretching out to the north and west, the Helgeland coast to the south, and the border mountains towards Sweden in the east. The path is just wide enough for two. Bring a friend or someone special on a quiet June evening, and let the Midnight Sun frame the landscape around you.

Equipment available to borrow at the hotel:
Backpack
Binoculars
Hedlamp
Trekking poles

Café Turisthytta, adjacent to the lobby, is ready to fill your backpack with coffee on thermos, bottles with water and lemonade and packed sandwiches.
