Join us as we fill Café Turisthytta with music, memories, and pre-Christmas magic on December 4th. This evening, we take a step back in time—to the atmosphere of the old Turisthytta, which for generations served as a gathering place for both locals from Bodø and visitors alike. Here, people shared coffee, stories, and music that brought everyone together across age and background.
Notbøteriet, a band made up of experienced musicians from Bodø, takes us on a musical journey through the decades, from 60s classics to country tunes and modern hits. With warm vocals, genuine joy of playing, and a generous dose of nostalgia, they invite you to an evening where the past and present meet.
The event has free admission, and we’ll be serving light snacks and drinks throughout the evening. Come up to Café Turisthytta and soak in the atmosphere, the music, and the cozy spirit of the pre-Christmas season.

England Brooks was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Twenty-one years ago, she made Norway her home and Bodø her new hometown.
Bodø-born Joakim Rainer is one of Norway’s most active young jazz musicians. He has just returned to Norway after several years based in Berlin, and now, he’s joining us to fill the season with warmth, music and Christmas spirit.
