Right in the middle of winter break, we take a small step out of everyday life and a big step back in time, to when Turisthytta was a natural gathering place for both locals and visitors. A place where people came together over coffee, shared stories, and let the music fill the room.
This evening we welcome the singer and troubadour Arild Sandberg. With roots from Sørarnøy in Gildeskål and many years on Norwegian stages, he offers an intimate and engaging concert experience. His repertoire spans rock, blues, pop, country, and soul, delivered with clear guitar playing and a presence that draws the audience in.
In addition to the music, we celebrate the history on the walls. Throughout the evening, you can explore a small exhibition of historic photographs from the old Turisthytta—images of the building, the people, and the moments that once filled the house. The photographs are kindly shared by locals who have contributed their memories and archives.
Admission is free, and light bites and drinks will be available throughout the evening. Whether you’re on winter break, home in the city, or just looking for a relaxed evening with good vibes, we hope you’ll join us.

Join us for a calm and nourishing yoga session, high above the city, with views of the sea and mountains. After the session, enjoy complimentary entrance for Pool & Wellbeing and a refreshing smoothie in the lounge.
Join us for Baby Café at Café Turisthytta, Thursday 12 March! The café is open as usual, serving sweet treats, easy lunch options and freshly brewed coffee. From 12 to 3 PM, we roll out soft mats for the babies to lie and play.
Throughout week 11, we invite employees, guests, and the local community to create and decorate paper hearts for our Wall of Hearts. For every heart made, Strawberry will donate 10 NOK to UNICEF. Join us in creating a wall filled with hearts!

A spectacular mountain race through some of the most breathtaking landscapes Northern Norway has to offer. Bodøryggen takes you across iconic peaks with views of the Lofoten Wall, Landegode and the city of Bodø, before finishing at the summit of Rønvikfjellet.
