Do as the locals, and step into arctic nature just beyond the hotel. Follow a trail locals have traveled since 1890 to Keiservarden, where stunning views of the sea, Bodø, and the Lofoten Wall await. 

An easy hike with spectacular views the whole way. Safe to say you won't be alone on this mountain. From the time Queen Sonja opened the Sherpa-built trail in 2016, more than 100,000 locals and visitors come here every year.

Ride one of our electric mountain bikes to Kvalvika in about 20 minutes, then continue on foot. The hike to the top takes around 30 minutes at a moderate pace. From there, you’ll have stunning views of landmarks like Landegode and Hjertøya.

This hike is perfect for both beginners and experienced hikers alike. The starting point is a 30-minute drive from Wood Hotel Bodø. Don't forget your camera – you'll definitely want to snap some photos at the top to capture the incredible views over the Rønvik area, the rest of the city, Sandhornet, and Fugløya to the southwest.

A short and scenic hike. Follow the trail over a small bridge and through a peaceful forest path. The view from the top is well worth it, and the hike takes just 15 minutes each way.

Suitable for all ages, with easy terrain that makes for a comfortable walk. At Ørnkloa, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view over Rønvika and the city. Be mindful of the steep hills surrounding the viewpoint.
