Monday, March 30 – A Special Morning Above the City

On this Easter Monday, we invite you to a truly special morning high above the city, where Arctic nature meets calm and warmth. We dedicate this day to wellness and renewal here at the top of Rønvikfjellet.

Doors open at 12:00, giving you the chance to settle in and take in the beautiful surroundings before the ritual begins. Why not start the day with a nourishing and flavorful lunch at Café Turisthytta between 12:00 and 13:00? Enjoy a delicious bite while admiring the views of the sea and mountains, filling your body with energy before we move together into the warmth.

The sauna ritual begins at 13:00. Feel the heat penetrate deeply as you rest your gaze on the Arctic landscape surrounding us. After the ritual, we retreat to our chill zone, where warm tea is served and there’s time to relax before the rest of your day unfolds.

This is your time to fully disconnect and just be.

Schedule for the Day:

12:00 – 13:00: Arrival and opportunity for a nourishing lunch at Café Turisthytta
13:00 – 14:30: Guided sauna ritual in our Arctic sauna
14:30 – 15:00: Relaxation with tea in our chill zone
15:00 – 22:00: Free access to the entire Pool & Wellbeing area for personal time and swimming

The price per person is NOK 395, including both the ritual and access to the wellness area for the rest of the evening.

Waffle Week

March 25th is the International Waffle Day, but we feel like one day simply isn’t enough. We’re celebrating a whole Waffle Week from March 23rd to March 29th.

Easter Quiz

We’re excited to invite you to our Easter Quiz on Wednesday, April 1st! For the very first time, we’re hosting a quiz night at Café Turisthytta, and we can’t think of a better occasion than Easter week.

Participation is free, but teams must register in advance to reserve a table. Each team can have up to eight participants, so gather your favourite people and join us for quiz night!

Møsbrøm Sunday

Join us and taste an authentic Salten tradition at Café Turisthytta. On this day, we serve møsbrømlefse, a beloved local dish with deep roots in Northern Norwegian food culture. A dish that also reflects Turisthytta’s long history as a gathering place for warm breaks and good conversations.

Baby Café

Join us for Baby Café at Café Turisthytta, Thursday 16 April! The café is open as usual, serving sweet treats, easy lunch options and freshly brewed coffee. From 12 to 3 PM, we roll out soft mats for the babies to lie and play.

Back to Turisthytta—THE ARROWS

Join us as we fill Café Turisthytta with music and memories on May 1st. This evening we take a step back in time, to the atmosphere of the old Turisthytta, which for generations was a gathering place for Bodø locals.

This night THE ARROWS take the stage with their show “BÆRRE BEATLES.” Free entrance!
